I hear what everyone is saying. It just seems so wrong. The insurance is repairing the car but, through no fault of my own it seems like it's now worth less. I guess I'll just have to hope for the best when I sell it. Anyone want a nice 2nd generation 560SEL?

bolomiester, to me any paint work dramatically changes my interest in buying a MB vehicle, no matter how high end the repair shop. If the car doesn't have all factory paint I would not buy the vehicle, especially a classic model. A complete restoration is a different animal … talking big bucks then.
