300E Headlight/Fog Lamp Knob

Greetings,

The knob that switches on the headlights has an small round orange dot on it. Is that supposed to light up when the fog lamps are turned on when you pull the knob out? I pulled the knob all the way off and didn't see a way to place a bulb in there.
