2.3 8V air flow sensor work in a 16v

hi
i was wondering if i got a normal 190e 2.3 8V air flow sensor
if i could put it in the 2.3 16v , is it the same part ? , i know that the idle valve is differnet, so the MB shop manual says, but there was no saying if the air flow sensor was differnt, just wondering because 2.3 parts are alot easier to get then the
16v, if any one has a 16v air flow sensor i could use it
thanks
dave

I am not 100% sure about using a 8vlv airflow meter on a 16-vlv, but I doubt it would work.

Unfortuately, most 16-vlv parts are 16-vlv specific.

Costly at best!
