560SEL no sound

I have a 1988 560SEL with the becker stero, looks great but theres no sound. All of the controls work, the stations change, and the tape plays , but no sound. Not even a crakel or static. Is there somrthing like a preamp with a fuse that could blow that I could replace or is this something that I might have to have the manufacture fix.
