Situation: T'was a dark street late at night; doing a headlight adjustment. Popped the hood, exited the car, closed the door, car running. After the adjustment, YIKES!
doors all locked. Luckily I live in California and had the sunroof open AND was near a neighbor's house (borrowed a stool to reach in through the sunroof to unlock the door).QUESTION: What gives? Why would this have happened? Of course the doors auto-locked when I first started the car up. Then, when I exited the car, the driver's door only would have auto un-locked (as I pulled on the handle). But, why re-lock after closing the door (with car running)? Thanks for solving the "Mystery of the Day". Brian 1986 2.3-16V |
