I have an 87 2.3 16. When I park the car after driving for 15 mins or more, the coolant overflow tube on the resevoir discharges fluid. It's not a full on pressure release just a slow trickle. I have replaced the thermostat & the fan belt. The temp gauge also heads for the stratophere. Please help.

The new t-stat is defective or the radiator is partially occluded. Another possibility is the water pump, but I'd eliminate the first two options before suspecting the pump.

I don't see where you replaced the cap. The cap has been updated to 1.4 bar for this reason.
