My 89 300E runs like a champ except for one little problem--the gas pedal. It seems to be very "heavy" while I accelerate. When I say "heavy", I mean it feels very hard to push down. Im kinda used to driving cars that have "light" gas pedals, such as american cars, and new model cars. My father tells me that this is how all MB gas pedals are (myth?). I drove my friends 92 Ford crown victoria, and I just tapped the pedal, and the car took off. Is there a way I can adjust the gas pedal, so I can make it easier on myself to accelerate or will I be wearing orthopedic shoes by the time i'm 30??
Any input would be appreciated. Agron 1989 300E (108k miles) ------------------ |
