Too much for me
Well, Im tired of throwing parts at this car...All I was trying to do was clean out the EGR valve tube this weekend...and replace plugs...and everything Ive done seems to have made the car worse...
Ive installed a new wire set (Bosch) New plugs(Autolites, and NGKs) Ive moved back to the original plugs in hope of a return to prev perf.... And a new EGR valve(OEM) And I just test drove the car around the block and barely made it back. There is no acceleration and hard shifting. At idle(park), its fine, but when in rev or D, it drops down to around 500 RPM, and when turning the wheel, it makes the belt squeek and lose power steering... Anything anyone can suggest would be helpful. I have reseated the plugs, and checked them...they seem to be fine...I tried to clean out the EGR tube as best as I could, but maybe Im making the problem worse? by loosening up tthat gunk? It did get worse after I tried to clean it out...I used a wire, just trying to get some of that stuff loosened...

Assuming that you did everything correct that you described above, what could have happened is that your engine wiring harness finally gave out, and needs to be replaced.
1993-1995 3.2 liter M104 engines, like yours and mine, suffer from disintegrating insulation on the engine wiring harness. They are all bad. It is not a question of "if", but when. Do a search on wiring harness, and you will have enough reading to keep you up all night, or at least give you a heart attack. The part is (or at least was) about $550 dollars. If you have a mechanic do it, it should take them about 2 - 2.5 hours.

The first thing I would do if I where you, would stop working in the car. If it is the engine wire harnes you can and will make things worse than they already are. The insulation in this wires just crumbles and the more you move the wires the more insulation they loose. Check your wire harnes to prevent any damage to the computer, starting system or instrument cluster, etc. I just went thru this two weeks ago and feel your pain. Good luck.

Problem FINALLY solved
Well, I decided to post a final post on this problem I was having. I had the car towed to my shop here in Austin, and after looking over the car, it was determined to be the engine wiring harness. It seems that when I was changing the plug wires I must have disturbed the wiring harness enough to cause this problem.
700.00 later, (Fastlane 500 for wiring harness, and 2 hours of labor) and she is running strong again. Anyone reading this post in the future should definitely look at the wiring harness as a possible culprit. I will be picking the car up tomorrow...and I told my mechanic to save the harness...I want to take some pics and post them for everyone. Thanks for everyone's help... Carlos Oh, i may have to post some pics of my S class too....
