My car, which I bought new has always run
toward the hot side (110) whe the ambient
temp is above 98deg., but only in stop and
go traffic. Both aux. fans operate, and go
to high speed when required, but the a/c
provides less cooling when the temperature
gage begins to climb. The radiator and water
pump were replaced under warranty to no avail. The car has 118k. Any thermostat options? Suggestions? Thanks.

This doesn't sound right to me, but some cars are weird like that. Why? That is the million dollar question.

Have you tried water wetter? I hear that it works.
