300E radiator replacement help
Hello Board,
This weekend I plan on replacing my radiator. The problem is that the in DIY section the instructions on how to remove and replace the radiator are not there. Are there any special tricks to removing it? I am a very good DIY'er, but I wanted to make sure everything goes smoothly. I also heard something about "plugging the transmission lines" because of trans fluid leaking. Is leaking tranny fluid possible when changing the radiator on the 300E?

You should find a couple small lines attached to the radiator near the bottom. These are the tranny fluid lines. I would not worry too much about plugging them unless it is going to be a long time till you button everything up. You will get some spillage but not enough to matter, just put down an absorbancy pad and you will be fine. It is a straightforward job.
