I called my insurance company to repair pits in my windshield (original windshield) which had about 10 small pits all over. The repair guy shows up at work I point him to the car. He says come back in 45 minutes. I figure he will fill and smooth out the pits - but he actually changed out the whole windshield.
Now I have lost the sticker in the lower right part of the windshield, and I have no idea how good the windshield, or the installation is.I probably shouldn't complain about getting a new windshield, and I am concerned about the quality of the install, not an MD qualified installer. Any suggetions as to testing the quality of the install? ------------------ Make it a Good One! 1993 500E |
