Quick W202 Lower Control Arm Replacement question

At 125K on my 1994 C220 both my lower control arm bushing need replacement and a friend who owns a garage will be helping me with it.

Before I start, I'd like to get know what I am getting into -

(a) Do you need any special Mercedes tools to remove and/or install the new bushings? Any tips on this?

(b) My mechanic friend says it a bear removing the springs - true?

Any idea how much time this should take per side?

Thanks,
Chandra
