w126 driver's door window operator

My new mint 1986 300sdl had it's first problem today. The drivers window made a thud starting down and two thuds when closing. I took off the door panel and discovered that the metal had fatigued and cracked in the door that holds one of the bolts for the window operator. I also found a deformed piece of white plastic. Apparently the metal bracket is sandwiched between two white plastic bushings on a metal sleeve. The bolt then passes through this assembly and the metal door frame. I think I have it figured out but can anyone post or email me a diagram of how all this goes together? I'll cobble it back together and not use the window until I can get new bushings. I'm also a little concerned about the fatigued and cracked metal in the door. I may need to mig in a little flange to give it strength. Hard to imagine how this happened.
Thanks
Dave
