cracked oil pan

Hi guys,
Today morning i saw a puddle of oil under the 500SL(1991), and took it to a shop. they showed me a 3 inch hairline crack on the pan. its about a square foot in size (the pan). the dealer qouted me 200 in parts and 200 in labour. Is there anything else I should do when the pan is out. like tell them to check for something else that could have caused the crack? or to check some accessible parts once that pan is removed? I just changed my oil last week aswell, so do I tell them to save the old oil so they dont charge me for an oil change on top of everything else?
they told me its only an hour job.
