The 208s and Other late Model Mercedes do have Problems with the fuel tank sending units...its The Sending units in the fuel tank
You MUST drain the tank to replace the Sending units

Mercedes said..that there is a updated sending unit....Im Not so sure...My W210 is on its Fourth sednding unit...

Yes You WILL Need MB tools to drain the tank on BOTH sides
And Again Special tools to remove the metal ring that secures the fuel tank sending unit to the tank...

You can Try to use to small punches and a screw driver to release the metal ring that is threaded into the tank that secures the sending unit...worked for me!

You Must remove the plastic covers to get access to the sending units....Under the car
