1998 W210 AC indentification
Can anyone Identify the high and low side connections for the AC. I can see one on the left side up top, but where is the second one??? I want to check the to see if I have enough freon.. When i pull the numbers from the AC controller the value for number 5 is reading 129.. and the value for number 7 is 02.. I believe that's the pressure..
Peter

Yes, that is the pressure & 2 bar X 15 = only 30psi. Should be 6-7 bar (06-07)

The high pressure schrader is behind the grill on the front, on the driver's side. I'm not sure about the codes, take a look here for info...
http://www.continentalimports.com/ser_ic40142.html I think #5 is temp in the evaporator housing, not a pressure. Good luck, Peter |

Added freon
Hello I added some freon.. And the pressure came up to 7-8 with the car running.. then I got cold air, the left center vent was blowing a little warm at first.. I still think I have a bad vacuum leak on that side, I can hear it..
The number 5 value is still high, like 120 I think that is too high.. Peter
