Voltage Regulator Location '73 450SL

Where is the voltage regulator location on a 1973 450SL
Chassis 107.044
Engine 117.982
It looks like it goes under the dash on the passenger side but I cannot locate it by the fuse box....
Where is it???
There are two different parts in fast lane (see attached pics)
