I have looked through all the service manuals and can not find a service interval for the power steering oil and filter for a '82 300SD. Does anyone know or have a suggestion as to how often?

Well....if you don't know when it was done last time then go ahead and to it ASAP. Mine (81SD), with very close to 200,000 miles, sprung a leak around the pulley shaft bearing/seals and was replaced with a rebuilt unit. Also had to replace the pulley. I'm guessing it was not on the regular maintenance list.
