Clutch Master Cylinder Part Number MB 250S
Hello
![]() Anyone know the correct Part number for a 1967 Mercedes 250S Clutch master cylinder ? I can't find one for sale my Chassis # ends with 025129 I found one's Thru Chassis Serial # 001864 only and they look completely different. (1) I "can find" the Clutch Slave Cylinders but not the ' Master Cylinder ' (2) Perhaps if I have the Mercedes Part number I can find one ? (3) As well a rebuild Kit might work . Or Perhaps if someone Knows where you can buy one by chance ? Pelican does not list them so I can't find a part number their |

thanks Benz Dr for reply
![]() Clutch Master Cylinder : # ( you sent 000 295 29 06 ) That seems to be for a Mercedes 200 and a 200D Model however Not a 250S Model ( 1967 ) so not the right one . I have discovered they have a Slave Cylinder for a early 1967 Type and a Late 1967 Type . They sell the early type on Pelican but not the late type Try to load a few Photos under dash see below . I ordered a slave cylinder what seems to be the correct One Online elsewhere so in the mail . So the Clutch Master Cylinder Part number ? ( or if someone knows where you can get one ) So Any one know the Part Number so I can try to get one or a kit ? The Chassis # Ends in 025129 is a 1967 Mercedes 250S Sedan So far my search seems to find they " also Fit " a 220 / & 230 Mercedes . As well I think they stopped this type in 1967 Last edited by aluminum; 06-22-2021 at 02:56 PM. |

Look for 000 295 52 06. This looks like the photo you posted.
By the way, the slave cylinder is located on the transmission. The clutch master cylinder is located under the dash or on the firewall. |

Thanks I think that's correct : ( your number ) This one also CENTRIC 13635003 $105 Yes I know where they are located lol The photo is on my car lol Turns Out was just the Slave Cylinder fixed it installed it an hour ago bled the system from the Drivers Side Front Brake Caliper bleeder attached to slave Bleeder motor running ( Power Brakes ) Clutch Cylinder : I used a FTE Brand KN2596B1 Germany 6 Feet of 3/16th clear tubing Clamped tight to Bleeders so they don't pop off under pressure . I watched the Air come out the Fluid reservoir but continued 3 extra Pumps. You need to be sure you close Bleeders Before trying the Clutch Its a a Little different to blead that way but simple . Is a Reverse Blead You Can use the master Cylinder as a reservoir if you Glue in an outlet for fluid ( I mention this because a 53 year old Clutch reservoir often leaks ) Photo is a CENTRIC 13635003 Clutch Master cylinder ( Note : Most Likely I could have just tore it down " Easy " and change the rubber Cup on the Slave Cylinder I removed . Most often the size is marked on them or you can just measure and Match it up at some auto parts store ) Last edited by aluminum; 06-24-2021 at 07:32 PM. |
