An SL600 would be a fun car to own for a couple of years.

Its like when my friends dad bought the S600, he wasn't sure he wanted the V12 until he got on it. He was sold by 6k rpm.

They make a Hide-A-Hitch for the R129. Put on on the 600, and you can tow a ditch witch.

We started looking for a 300SL, found a 500, loved that, put a hold payment on it. Drove the 600 at another dealer. Sold leaving the parking lot!
