I decided to topcoat it just for good measure. I ordered POR15's FlexCote ... kind of expensive but it said you could paint over POR15 (after scuffing w. sandpaper). Hopefully it will hold strong (would hate to have anything crack/flake all in there). Looks pretty nice I think ... much better than big patches of rust. After it dries I'll see if I can remember how to put everything back together!

Interesting that this is a word-for-word quote from post #4 of this thread, with the addition of that URL to a supposed tools supplier. This member account seems suspect.
