'99 c280 No sound from aftermarket cd player
I just installed my pioneer cd player using harneses i got off the internet. All connection are perfect and the head unit turns on. The only problem is i get no sound. What is going on?

Your '99 uses a fiber optic connection to the amplifier if I am not mistaken. You may be able to power it up, but you aren't sending anything out to the speakers. This normally requires running speaker wires from the head unit to the speakers in the vehicle (or from the interior amp if you are using one in your setup). Pull out the multimeter and see if there is any continuity btween one of you speakers and its corresponding lead on your adapter harness.
