OP,
I replaced the speakers recently on my 1986 300SDL. The speakers on mine were amplified, so I had to replace them all, which I did. I got the work done at Circuit City and they have been fine. Size must be the same and then functionality....somebody will know a lot more than I do. Good luck. |

Thanks

I put an Alpine radio and 12 disc CD changer in my car recently, plus all new speaker and shielded wire. Cost almost $1,200 but was worth it. I left for Bosnia for the Army Reserve four years ago this month. Right before that I had talked to Best Buy and they said they had to put about a half inch hole in my dash to mount it. Naturally, all that changed.
This is not the proper way to go, but I found a couple of folks at Circuit City who were very knowledgeable and very helpful. You will just have to find somebody like this at some store in your locale. |
