I'd like to run a power cable from the battery to the trunk of my 91 300SE. The power cable will feed a Kenwood 35x4 rms amp. I figure the run to be about 15 feet. What gauge wire should I use? What gauge wire would I need if I upgrade to an a/d/s 50x6 rms amp in the future?
Thanks, Sixto 91 300SE |

So 25amp? You probably need six gauge but could possibly get away with eight gauge. I would go with six, probably cost you a dollar more.
