Aux volume on Blaupunkt after market
I'm having a problem with the aux-in volume on my Blaupunkt Seattle MP74. But for some reason only the aux-in is low, everything else works perfectly. I have my iPod turned all the way up and I've been turning the H/U up to 35 or 40 out of 50 just for moderate sound level. Now if I did that with a CD it would be loud as hell. What can i do? Is there some way to amplify the aux in? It's driving me crazy because I have this so I'm not carrying around tons of CDs and the only things seem to work are CDs.
Also I was wondering if the twisted pair type speaker wires work as well as the stores tell me they do? Do they really block interference. I'm thinking of upgrading the wiring on the already upgraded sound system. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Are you sending the output via the ipod's headphone jack? Try getting a line out converter for it (Sendstation and Sik both make dongles that plug into the universal connector), that boosts the voltage on the output and also bypasses the on-board amplifier for a cleaner signal.
