I have read the 3700 posts about becker and its problems. I have an 89 190 and I am planning on putting in another deck most likely a pioneer cd. When the becker is out there are two plugs, and l and r lines for speakers. There is also a thick black wire going to the rear right. I heard that crutchfield has harnesses that will match the factory wiring. Is this true? does that take care of all the plugs and the black wire? I don't want to cut any wires other than speakers lines to bypass the fader.
I would just like to know what wires are for what on the entire unit and anything else I need to know. I bet you guys have talked about these stupid radios enough times to chap your lungs but I thought I'd ask again ![]() ------------------ Rob C 89 190E 2.6 Beige ![]() |
