My wifes ride is a 1994-E320 Wagon. The other day the left front dash speaker stopped putting out sound. The radio is a MB digital controlled unit. All other functions,ie fader-bass/treble-balance work fine on all the other speakers. Any thoughts-how is access gained to the speaker?

Ah....Fort Myers. That brings back memories. I lived on Sanibel for a while.
Theres loads of posts on this, search the archive. In simple tems tho, prise the 1/2 wide plastic strip up with a sharp screwdriver. Then unscrew the two screws, then it lifts up. Easy. i have the same problem in my 94 E420. so how does replacing the speaker help? i think the speaker (sometimes) works. so i would guess that it's a bad connection?
