how do I know if I can put in a cd player?
I recently bought a 93 400E and it has the original Becker radio/cassette player in it. Well the other day I went to play the cassette and when I put the cassette in, rather than it grabbing the tape and pulling it in, it just kinda sat there and when I tried to push the tape in it buzzed and pushed the tape back out.
My question is, since I want to be able to play cd's, how can I tell if it has the connector(s) so that I can put in a CDplayer/changer in the trunk? I dont mind that the cassette doesnt work properly if I have the ability to jam listening to cd's. Also does anyone have recommendations as to what brand of cd player/changer is best? I dont need anything that has a bass that vibrates all of the surrounding cars at stoplights. Thanks, Frank
