I used my 85 190 as a test car for this, and it worked great.
I noticed that the bottom plastic "sheaths" attached to the bottoms of the doors were starting to "curl" and were difficult to bend back straight. This caused a problem with getting the back doors to close on the car. I borrowed a heat gun from work, and used it to heat the plastic up a little. This allowed me to straighten the sheaths without cracking the plastic. With a little patience, I even managed to bend back a sheath that had bowed outward, and stopped an annoying whistle at highway speeds.
