back seat cargo net

I have a E190 '92 2.3

On the driver side seat, the top wire of the cargo net pulled out of the clip that holds it to the seat. I have used the car key to slip it back to place, but it is way too loose and if it is used for anything, it pulls back out. Any ideas on how i can go about replacing it / fixing it?

I was thinking about sticking hot glue in the hole and sliding the cargo net wire into the slot, but i think that will be way too messy. Any ideas?
