Plugging a hole in driver's seat leather
I discovered a small hole on the lower left of the driver's seat that I definitely don't want to leave alone.
If I have a chance, I'll post a picture of said issue. I was told that someone sells a plug of some sort that would resolve this. Can anyone confirm?

Pics?
Is it in the smooth or perforated section of leather?

i have a few small tears in my leather seats, otherwise theyre perfect. i was thinking of supergluing the ends of the hole then fill it with vinyl filler. at any auto paint store they sell a product called "texture coating" by SEM. i was going to texture coat it and then dye the seat. to match. ill let u know how i make out, but this is what we used to do at the dealer when we had cars that were trade ins going to auction.

Generally the leather (or vinyl) splits because it's dried out. Simply glueing the split together usually splits again just next to the repair. I'd pull the seat cover off and glue / sew a new patch on the back to give the weak area strength.

i just repaired a hole(about golf ball sized), ill post some photos after work, first i ran about 5 stiches in it, then at any fabric store, theres a vinyl repair kit, i glued from the outside(to fill the crack, i put some duct tape over it to keep it level) right now im going outside to spray the SEM texture coating over it, and tonight ill dye the whole seat.
small holes i just glue, 95% of the time theyre not even noticed after that. i had one where i forgot i had a screwdriver in my pocket and sat down in my backseat and tore it, i just glued the flap(about 4 years ago) back down and it still stuck there, hardly noticable to the eye, unless i point it out.
