Why does cold air blow out of my center console vent into the back seat when the heat is on? Fan speed does affect the flow of air coming out of rear seat vent. But if climate control is off, the rear vent still blows cold air. I am guessing outside air is coming into this vent somehow. When I close it, it changes the air flow (sounds different) coming from the dash. I have just been leaving it closed, but my two year old sits in rear seat and would like some heat in the morning.
