Now that I have the mechanical things working fairly well I am now working on the little anoying stuff. What I need now is the sunroof switch and the power seat switch for the front passanger side if anyone has a good used one that the want to sell let me know. Thanks

I'm still looking for good used switches. I need a sun roof switch and a passanger side seat switch. Has any one tried adding extra driving lights to their car? I'm trying to come up with a good clean installation that looks like it wasn't just an afterthought.

You might try to clean and repair your seat switch, provided it is still there at all.
A real fun job, but it is doable. Has the same metal rocker switches as the windows use, but a lot more of them. They get corroded and they bend and fail to make solid contact.

Do you have Euro lights?? Euro lights have been the single greatest improvement to my car. Not only is the stock output better, the real improvement is the light pattern. Searching on "euro lights" will return loads of info.

Hi goldenbear, I was thinking about adding the lights just because I have some laying around from about the same era as my car. I am probably going to change to the euro lights in the near future. I was looking at the pictures of your car, was it in that condition when you got it or did you restore it. Very nice. I noticed the Cal sticker and the San Francisco licence frame, I'm in the Petaluma area and its nice to see others in the bay area that are into these old MBs. The reason I want to buy some used switchs is that I know if I don't have a backup when I try to recondition the existing ones that will be the time that I loose a spring or something, it always happens when you think nothing can go wrong. I hope to post some pictures soon.
