So far no seized plugs !!! The only casualties are two of the plastic retainers for the glowplug harness that snap onto the end of the glowplugs. They look replaceable as they easily (go figure) unsnap from the harness and have a Mercedes Star on them along with a number, 019 545 54 28.

I will check with The Stealer tomorrow to see if they stock them. I already have an email in to Phil at Fastlane should The Stealer fail me.

I've been following the excellent writeup by Lightman on glowplug replacement and only had to deviate slightly during the intake manifold removal phase. I had to whack it with a piece of wood from underneath to "unstick" it. Upon removal of all the fasteners, it resisted being simply lifted off.
