Damn! I guess I missed the deadline to see if they would give me the money to trade in my 84 300D for a new VW TDI

Speaking of Cummings I heard last week that Cummings is owned by GM. The story goes that Dodge has a 20 year contract with Cummings to supply truck engines. This contract is up in 2 years. After that Dodge, being part of Mercedes, is going to start using MB Diesels similar to their Euro truck engines. Once this happens GM will start using the Cummings coupled to their Allison trans. This should make a hell of a Diesel truck.

Anyone heard anything along these lines?

Now, to be correct, the company name is Cummins, not Cummings!

...The dodge bodies don't fall apart around the engine fast enough for you so you want a GM?
