I just rolled over 247k last night when I got home from school at midnight. I got home, parked, and looked at it, and it said a perfect "247000" I was very pleased

My dad is only 24.5k away from 300,000! He drives hundreds of miles a week, so he'll be there in no time!

The big event about me hitting 247k is that this means I have driven the car 40k since I bought it. (had 207,128 on it when I left the point of purchase) Not bad! I've only had it 3 years and 2 months...

I just calculated that you will hit 1,000,000 miles in about 59.612 years at your current rate.

I'm really bored.

400

My 240D's currently at 379905. I expect to be at 400000 within the next year or so. I'm looking forward to being able to capture the event either on video or with a still picture that I'll post.

I hit 200K in my 210 not long ago. Unfortunately, I haven't been getting the pleasure of driving that car lately, since I prefer getting chauferred in a Jetta. We recently turned 1700 miles on that one...

The Jetta is great on fuel, getting over 42 overall, before it's even broken in. But it will never have the comfort of the Benz. On the other hand, if it gets hit on the near future, we'll probably come out better on the insurance payout on the new Jetta than on a 10 year old MB.
