Tachometer sending unit

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a tachometer sending unit (speed sensor) other then the stealership? I have been trying to diagnose why my tach craps out when the engine warms up and think it is the speed sensor. When the engine is cold the sensor puts out 3 volts on the voltmeter. When the engine warms up the voltage drops to 0! I replaced the OVP relay first so I know it is ok. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I cannot find the sensor anywhere on the net, including Fastlane.
