Hi
Having brought my AC back to life, I've discovered that my "automatic" climate control system isn't exactly operating as designed. The air flow from the central in-dash air duct is pretty low, and it feels like there's more air being sent to the windshield air ducts than to in-dash air ducts, despite ACC operating in "normal" mode, not defrost mode. So I searched. One particular ACC aspect that gets discussed a lot is recirculation mode, in particular how to switch it from 80% inside/20% outside air to 100% inside air. Well, I got curious and looked at the two vacuum pods behind the glovebox, and it turns out that PO has already looked into this issue, and "fixed" it by disconnecting vacuum lines from both pods. Those lines just hang loose now. I hope the vacuum supply going to those lines got plugged somewhere, but I don't really know.
How with the main air flag/recirculation flag work with those vaccum lines disconnected? I'm thinking it means 80% inside air at all times, but I'm not sure

? Any insight on whether those disconnected lines may affect dash/windshield air flow distribution?
