1967 200diesel start sequence

Hi,guys,I just got my "new" 1967 200diesel delivered,it started on the truck, without glow plugs heat after 1 min cranking, driver did not know how to start it properly, maybe I do not remember exactly, either, what is the correct starting procedure for this one:turn the key till light comes on the dash, then pull the starter knob all the way, glow plugs dont seem to warm up...resistor on the dash does not go red...anybody?
