To Those Who Have Inquired About the Cup Holders

I went out this afternoon and was finally able to find a wood supplier. Thing is, price went up for me so I must reflect this to the purchaser of course Anyways, to make a long story short I need to now charge $28 for a cup holder and will charge actual shipping cost. I would prefer that if you still want one or would like to place an order you reply here since my PM box is getting full and my email is a mess. So, if I have people reply here then I can hopefully keep a more organized list. You could still say that I'll still be making them for those that have already inquired but I won't send them out unless they are aware of the price increase. If they don't want them then I can sell them to someone else on here or put them on ebay. If you are reading this and would like more details, then follow the link in my signature and that should pretty well explain everything.

To those who I owe one free of charge, (you know who you are), this of course does not apply to you. If you had one of them that didn't fit please let me know the dimensions of the one you have so I don't repeat any mistake or so I know if you have an odd shaped counsel.

I'm sorry this had to happen. Although I still think it is a great deal considering what you get. These are great to have for trips or even around town. It's one of those things you don't really appreciate till you go without until the need really rises.

Thanks
David

Tell me some good news for a 210. This is for a 99 E300 Turbodiesel if that makes any difference. TIA

Hi David,

Glad you got the wood (no pun intended). I still want one with the cup handle slot. Price increase is not a problem, as I agree this is still a great deal. Let me know if you need my address again or anything else.

Thanks,

Clay

I got two of these from David a couple of months ago (for 123 and 116) and enjoy them every day.

They are the best I have owned in 20-25 years of driving these two cars. I have spent far more than the cost of these in trying out all the ones offered in auto parts stores etc.

I just got measurements for the 124 chasis and am hoping to build a prototype in the next couple days. I actually started building some today. I am starting work on 116, 123, and 126 model holders.
Thanks
David

Hey

I'd love one for the W115. I can measure dimensions for you if you don't have them, but I think its same as W123.

I agree with Joe, David is working very hard on these and does a great job. I saw his trunk today full of them, including a few custom jobs. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the nice comments everyone, Adam is correct, I do have a trunk full of them, 14 to be exact. I have several emails and PMs of people who want some so I don't want to start taking more orders till I take care of my current customers. I am moving away the 20th so this is my last batch except for the 124s which will be completed shortly. I made a mistake on this batch of 123s by making them slightly too long as if they were for euro models but I'm not 100% positive that it's only the euros with the longer counsels. So I'll post the length of them and you tell me which one of the two you need.

Thanks for your patience,
David
