Parking Brake Cable Clevis - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Well, went to change my parking brake cables and when I got the pads off I found what looks like a pressed in pin in the clevis at the end of the cable. How does this thing come out, or do I just drive it out of there? Is there a replacement, or do I put the same one back?

Please don't tell me I gotta order yet another part to get this thing on the road.

Normally they are supposed to fall right out or take very little effort to remove...

Probably just wear and tear

Looks like they might do that, but keep in mind that I don't think this thing had been touched in its 210K mile life.
