A/C clutch and pully pulling question

I have a 300SD and am wonderning if there is enough room to pully the A?C clutch and pully while it is in the car. I want to avoid a re-chargede of the system. So if it means pulling the radiator and oil cooler to get it done, I think it in the end would be a better option.

Thank you
Don

it seems

like you would have to pull the rad. might get away with leaving the oil cooler in.. that is good if you can because the fittings on it are fragile and if much care is not taken you will twist the fitting out of the cooler tank. it takes two wrenches to do it correctly! the rad is simple and can be done in 15 minutes, prob.

when reinstalling it is tricky to get the oil cooler attached back to the radiator (these comment apply to a 123 and possibly not to a sd) so be careful to see that it is all put back in correctly.

if the cooler is left to flop around it will wear a hole in it and before you notice your oil sump will be dry! good luck.
