Ok... would a "leaky" delivery valve copper seal cause some slight nailing at idle and around 1k-1.5k rpm? There is no excessive smoke, idle is smooth and has lots of power. Most threads state I would have a "dead" cylinder and an obnoxious knocking sound if a delivery valve seal were bad or not seated properly per the TDM. I don't have any of these symptoms. I'm still trying to diagnose my issue and the noise is back after fresh diesel from a local Cenex Co-op. Do you think I need to simply re-do the job or pay a shop to do it? I am so frustrated with the car and it runs soooo nicely but the knocking is driving me crazy! Help please....
