Injector disassembly, cleaning and balancing and rebuilding will be $10/injector plus the cost of a nozzle if you want the injector rebuilt. As a comparison my local injection shop wanted $24/injector for this service.
I will also offer rebuilt injectors with heat shields on a core exchange basis for $32/each plus a $15 core charge that will be refunded on receipt of a rebuildable core.
I will also include a printout with each injector that shows pop pressure, shim thickness and spray pattern.
PM me if interested.
Edit: I had to raise my core charge. I have done several sets now and have not got any cores back.

What does the forum recommend. I'd like to get my 83 300D to idle smoother. It's the worst after a highway run when the engine is really warmed up good. Motor mounts are new. Should I do injectors? One was replaced about two years ago. The other 4 are originals that have never been removed.
Tenative plan:
A local guy is parting out an 85 300D and will sell me the injectors for $60 (all 5). Buy these and send to bgkast to clean, test, etc. Should I also have the Monarch nozzels put on? What do I watch for to be sure the parted out ones are rebuildable? This would leave me with a drivable car while bgkast does his majic. My total cost:
$60 for the used injectors + ? Monark nozzles + bgkast magic = ?
