OK, I have 4 stickers.

Kyle and Adam have already confirmed.

Johnhef, please confirm if you want one and supply address via PM.

Bill Murrow, please supply address via PM.

Articathlon is first alternate in case someone backs out.

I will scan the stickers tomorrow. Depending on how well it scans, we might need a Photoshop wizard to clean it up a bit.

Do we have any volunteers to handle the printing and distribution of additional stickers?

I happen to be a graphic designer who has wrestled with Photoshop for about 6 years now. I'm also in the printing industry. Perhaps the easiest thing to do would be (depending on how complex the original design was) to look at the scan and recreate it in Adobe Illustrator for printing. Please email me a hi-res jpeg or tiff of the scan at: jason.fraker@gmail.com, and I'd be glad to help out.

Scanned file has been sent to Jason. Hopefully he can clean it up and possibly improve the readability. Jason has some ideas about printing and distribution. I will seek Bill Wood's blessing before we proceed much further.

Kyle and Adam stickers went out today. Bill Murrow will go out tomorrow. Have not heard from Johnhef yet so will give hime some more time.

Whoever has them printed should have them made as window cling stickers so that you can move it to another car should you get a new diesel.

The window cling paper is readily available and most printers shouldn't have a problem printing it on that kind of paper.

I still like the grille badge idea but this seems to be much less of a hassle to produce.

If they are $2-4 each, count me in for 6.

If anyone needs help with logistics goodies let me know...

I would possibly distribute them to whomever wanted them (since I already do a similar thing with light bulb sockets).

I think a minium order of 2 at 2.50 a piece would be reasonable...no? That way atleast the person getting it is getting a 5 dollar check or something of the sort.

As I said, I would distribute if anyone wants. Until the decision is made though, nobody contact me

I was doing some looking online and for a removeable window sticker/decal (static cling) in the standard 3.5" by 7.5" or whatever size...its going to be about 1.80-2.00 for a single color print.
Two colors would be another dollar or so, depending upon company.

This would put the price at about 3 dollars a piece (to cover shipping, etc).

I have some funds kicking around and if people ordered, for example, a minium of 3-4 per person that would be great.

Unless anyone else here steps up in the next few days, I can see this project through.
I have some funds kicking around and since I would turn a tiny profit, I could reorder more as I get my money back.

Comments, suggestions?

I am not sure how many colors you guys are looking for. If you want just plain text that is fine with me.
Let me know

Brandon

Hang in there. Jason may have a place that can print them and sell them online. Let's just see what develops.
