no i did see that post. it still pissed me off. i dont care if he realized it or not. the called his dad an ******* for not giving him a ride,so he can get his cam to capture 200,000. if i were that worried about it i would have just disconnected the insturment panel. i mean honestly, even if his dad now realizes it was that big of a deal, he obviously had to be somewhere. i could see mr. glinko being mad at his dad for not giving him a ride because he had a flat, or his battery was dead. but to catch 200,000?

He "bailed". Nice word, wrong context though, I would think. Are you sure you're 41?
That was nit picky

I can't stop laughing!

Honestly, it's so easy to get you guys riled up.

My comment about the forum being full of bigots was a joke. If I use a bunch of smilies in such a manner, it usually means that I'm being sarcastic, or having a laugh.

intr.v. nitˇpicked, nitˇpickˇing, nitˇpicks

To be concerned with or find fault with insignificant details.

v : be overly critical; criticize minor details

My comments were directed at the topic of the thread...and the poster of this thread. Your comment was about my useage of the word "bailed". Re-reading my post, I see what happened. I sided with our young friend, and you didn't like that. You must be an old guy who thinks attacking me makes you right.

You sir, are a nitpicker. Bet you're a joy to live with...and...get your finger out of your nose ...and I think the Queens a cow anyway

How do you like my run-on sentences? You must want to burst with typing flurry to set me straight.

I wish to never act as old you. Yes, I am 41...but I feel like I am 25. Bet your 60, and feel like you're 85. GET OFF MY LAWN!!!

Turn that damn rock and roll music down!

Sorry...you just busted me up...I love this site

Sorry fella but it wasn't my initial comment about the word bailed. Go read all the posts and you will find who initially made the comment. I'm just siding with the man who made the comment. As far as the Queen goes if you want trouble I would suggest that you go to the UK or Canada and make those comments in one of their pubs. Don't make them to me because I don't give a $hit. As far as your run on sentences go again I don't give a $hit. You comment about my age. Go read all of the posts I AM 49. As far as my health goes go read some posts in OD and you will find out that I'm in good physical shape and plan on staying that way for a long time. And if your telling ME to turn that damn rock and roll music down you better be telling it to me with a smile on your puss.

I'm 41 with a teenage son. Would I have turned around? Probably if he had caught me close to where he is. On the other hand if I was helping him all morning and put off important business doing it then maybe not.
Either way I definitely don't think you should be calling your dad names. Here or anywhere. He deserves better than that. You need a more constructive way to deal with your negative emotions.
Also it's perfectly reasonable that he doesn't want you driving his Saturn. Why don't you drive the boxtruck?

My dad was sick most of his life and died at 51. I wish I had the opportunity to do with him the things you do with your dad. Don't take things for granted and enjoy the time you have with him. he's your dad for heavens sake!

Danny

Ahhh...I see where I went amiss. JimmyL made the comment about about my use of the word "bailed" and about my age. HE is the nit picker...ok...I stand corrected on that.

Now, I then accused him of being a nit pick, and you decide to shine in and agree with him about bailed, yet ignore the fact that I was correct about him being nit picky. He went off-topic to comment about "bailed", and throws my age in my face. You are fine with this? Didn't see you mention anything about that.

What do you say....let's see...your posts by and large are actually nice and helpful. So why is it when I correctly point out that JimmyL was being nit picky, that you chime it with "Not really. It was a poor use of the Queen's English in a world devoid of facial expressions, body language, and vocal inflection." ? Is he a personal friend? Your comment was in keeping with the crappy comment he made...I thought you were him. My mistake. If you were any kind of decent person...which reading your other posts...you seem to be...just not to me...you would have pointed out...yes, JimmyL was correct in my useage of "bailed" but that he was in fact being nit picky, and that attacking my age was mean. My comment to you was as if it was YOU...so I was punishing you for both comments. And guess what...you agreed with him...so you might as well have written both.

You are 49, maybe your not a nit pick. Maybe you're just a biased a55hole. Why would I give a flying rats a55 what the brits think. I will take your advice...when I go to the UK tomorrow, when I have drunk myself under the table at some local pub, I will remember your words of wisdom and keep my mouth shut about the Queen...I will refrain from saying that she can piss off....who the eff cares? What kind of silly comment was that? lol...whatever.

The turn down that rock and roll...that was from your perspective. You are that old man next door yelling at kids to stay off his lawn..or yelling at his kids or the neighbor kids to turn that rock and roll down. Pretty simple to see that...i thought...my mistake again. I am just full of mistakes.

I know...instead of reading the posts, making comments, and helping the topic...lets tear apart sentence structure...improper use of words..oh, let's not forget punctuation and spelling...yeah, that should be the focus

I was laughing at your a55 yesterday...now, I have this image of my toes....

Ahhhh...I feel better...and yes, there is a smile on my puss, probably not the smile your looking for though

It's not worth it Rob just as respect for one's father doesn't seem to be worth anything in today's society. They can say and do what they want to their fathers but as for me I'll hold mine in the highest esteem until the day I die.

This forum is full of agists!!!

I've met some nice folks on this forum, so I won't make any bigoted generalizations. However, I feel that some of you guys are cantankerous old crabs.
