Clean '79 Sd on Ebay

Sorry if this has already been posted. Could someone provide a link? I'm so illiterate.

Item # 4589181711.

Looks/sounds great. Don't know about the Grandma part....that sounds kinda fishy.

Cheers,

Bill

These are hard too find with low miles, decent body. Just need to know if the a/c works, no rust, cruise, etc.

I love the W116, but the 91 W124 I currently have is very nice, just not as special. . .

It's a fine looking vehicle. It's very difficult to find 116's in that condition.

Bet it goes north of $7K.

Very true. Wish i knew how to do the pix like he's got them set up.

Yeah Brian, I'm sure it will go for more than $7k...unless it is shill bid in which case we'll get to see it go for more than $7k twice.

Cheers,

Bill

Those photos are easy to do Bill. All you need is somewhere to host them on the web. E-bay won't host photos that size. You put them somewhere on the web and link to them.

I love the Euro bumpers.........not so sure about the lights, however. Seems like the W116 might need the classic look.

I thought the US spec lights were butt ugly.....so now with the Euro lights and the Euro bumpers it looks like god and Mercedes originally intended it to look....

You might be right. If I get off the traditionalist kick, the Euros look quite good.

Look at it this way....Mine is how the W116 looked every where else in the world...except for the Ronal R-9 rims...

Ok Brian. Now, just how is that done? Send me an email with the instructions if you don't mind/have time. I would love to set up my pix that way. A friend started to educate me but we hit a stumbling block when he found out I don't have AOL. Could I possibly send myself an email with the pix I wish to post and download from that?

I'm with BHD....I like the Euro look myself although a car thats in such great shape does also look good with the USA version lights. My Euros don't seem to light up the road as good as the US ones do even though I've got H-4's but I'll put up with that just for the look.

Cheers,

Bill

Bill, it's very straightforward.

Step 1: Find a service to host your photos on the web. This is the most important step. Once you have a provider that will host your photos, I'll show you how to link to them.

There are many commercial establishments that will host your photos for a fee. Maybe some other members can comment on the cost/benefit of each provider. I have not done it myself.
