I've found that truck air brake line works good for this application.
Also if you have happend to buy your injector return line in bulk...a nice long piece of that works juts dandy...and the plus side? No clamps required |

Power Loss
1984 300d Turbo 136k
Take Off The Egr Valve And Clean It, Its Sticking Valve, CHECK IT OFF THE ENGINE WITH HAND VACUUM PUMP PULL VACUUM AND RELEASE THE VALVE SPRAY CARBON CLEANNER IN THE EGR VALVE IT HAVE TO CLOSE FAST AND OPEN, I Would Stop And Fuel Up, The Valve Would Close And Increase Power Again And After 1 Min It Would Stick Open Again You Will Have No Power, After Stopping Slow Power Until 2k Rpm, ALSO Check For Carbon Where The Valve Bolts On, The Hole May Be Plug. Good Power Now Diy 1/2 HR. Last edited by RAYMOND485; 01-18-2006 at 03:53 PM. |

Dissable the EGR. You can do that in 30 seconds with the use of a standard sized BB. Use the BB to plug the vac line and presto...you will see a huge difference off the line pre-turbo output. Also, turn your Alda up, up, way up. My 300sd used to be a dog off the line and pre-turbo... completely bogged down by the EGR and was not getting enough fuel pre-turbo. Now it feels like I'm driving a 195 horse-power V8 off idle; I can almost do a burn-out. From 2,300rpm-4,100rpm (turbo) it feels like a 210 horse v8. Above 4,100 it peters out quite a bit (ie. diesel torque curve). You'll be suprised when you feel the difference with these super-high-tech modifications.
