Thumbs up

Thanks for the heads up on the coupon.
I posted about this find late last year, and so far am happy with the oil and the no glug spout. I have used the empties as wvo vessels...came in real handy.

Funny, I just 'impulse bought' 3 gallons of oil today myself. 2 Delvac, one Mobil 1. I'm going to do my own oil blending when it gets warm enough.

That's a unique oil. I'll bet it's not easily obtained.

What's the price of it?

New Castrol Diesel Oil

I just put my first batch of the Castrol in my 300d yesterday. Had been running Rotella 5-40 synthetic. It was great starting on cold days, however, when I ran the Benzer over 65 mph, that slippery stuff would start crawling out of the oil-fill cap and probably other places as well.
Did a prelimary run at 75 with the new stuff and the valve cover appeared to stay dry/clean.

So far I haven't been able to find it. I'd probably give it a go if I could find a bottle to look at. On a side note, while I was looking for it I found a place that has Mobil 1 5W-40!

That's not all that bad. I first thought it was a synthetic, but clearly not, at that price.

I've been running that Castrol oil for a LONG while now. Good stuff, less oil loss than before, priced well, etc.
