Valve Adjustment

Hey guys, I just purchased the tools and the gasket to adjust the valves. This will be the first time I have done anything like this and was wandering what other tools I may need or advice that will help me in attempting to do this project myself. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, jason

If you don't have the feeler gauges:
http://www.mytoolstore.com/kd/kdfeel01.html

Also, print out a diagram so you can mark off the valves as you go...

Hey Jasspi,
Can you go to the USER CP and add your vehicle info to your signature. Then go to your profile and fill out the information.

Thanks

Danny

While you have the valve cover off do this too:

To keep track of which valves you've done make a simple drawing showing which are exhaust and intake (circles in groups of 2) and when you turn the eng (I use the power steering pump bolt, c/w only) you can do which ever valves are available and mark them on your diagram as done.
